Something Wicked This Way Comes

Macbeth sees the ghost of Banquo
"And often times to win us to our harm
The instruments of darkness tell us truths,
Win us with honest trifles to betray's
In deepest consequence."
-Banquo
Macbeth
Act I, scene iii

"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

British Invasion

The Beatles
C.S. Lewis
George Fox
William Shakespeare

All my favorite things are from England. And I've never been there.

3.0

I'm so tired of these mortal men,
with their hands on their wallets
and their hearts full of sin,
scared of their enemies
and scared of their friends,
and their always running for re-election.

So come to DC if it by thy will
'cause we've never had a savior on capitol hill.

...All my problems gonna disappear
When I can whisper right in that President's ear.
He can walk right across that reflection pool
In his combat boots and ten thousand dollar suits.

Seriously

No. Really. Time is money. My work changes insurance companies on September 1st. So, the boy needs to be born before we have a new deductible.

Time Is On My Side

Kristina is expressing frustration at the fact that dude is already proving to be much like his father.

He's taking his sweet time.

Come on, dude. Time is money.

All Was Vanity?

"Thus I hated all the fruit of my labor for which I had labored under the sun, for I must leave it to the man who will come after me. And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have control over all the fruit of my labor for which I have labored by acting wisely under the sun. This too is vanity.

Therefore I completely despaired of all the fruit of my labor for which I had labored under the sun. When there is a man who has labored with wisdom, knowledge and skill, then he gives his legacy to one who has not labored with them. This too is vanity and a great evil.

For what does a man get in all his labor and in his striving with which he labors under the sun? Because all his days his task is painful and grievous; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is vanity.

There is nothing better for a man {than} to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God."

-Ecclesiastes 2:18-24 (NASB)
