In Keeping...

...with the superhero theme, I thought I'd post this picture.
That's me on the way to my preschool Halloween party in 1981.

Last evening, my mother told my wife and I that she recently saw the 1978 Superman Movie and was amazed at how I, even in my adult life, still have mannerisms that I picked up from deliberately imitating Christopher Reeve.

There's a testament to the power of media, huh? Swell.

Well, we think "The Interrogator" may be our most widely posted film to date. If anyone knows of any sites for "Bat-fans", feel free to post it there -or anywhere else.

Recomended Listening

For the past few weeks, I've been listening to Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. It's really good, and I can understand why it's considered one of the greatest albums ever made. It doesn't exactly rock, but it's great in a different way. So, if anyone is looking for something to listen to that can put you in a great, yet relaxing, mood, I recommend it.

Pet Peeves and Pet Sounds

"I know so many people who think they can do it alone
They isolate their heads and stay in their saftey zones

Now what can you tell them
And what can you say that won't make them defensive

I know there's an answer
I know now but I have to find it by myself

They come on like they're peaceful
But inside they're so uptight..."

Recomended Reading for Super Tuesday

"The text [2 Kings 5:1-19] teaches us that everything does not have to have a political signification and that everything is not necessarily a concern of political powers. At all events we see clearly that it is not by their mediation that God is going to act.

The intervention of institutional power is of no interest to God."

More on John's Video

Two days ago, I posted a video of John doing stand-up. Those jokes were written for a competition hosted by Turbo Tax. The winner gets money and a spot opening for comedian Jay Mohr. You're allowed to vote once a day by going to, clicking on the "View" tab, searching "Ramsey" and voting "Thumbs Up!" So, be sure to vote for John (once a day).

Scroll down two posts to watch his video.

Stay Tuned

Jokes from John

Sorry this isn't the aforementioned short film. It's clips from John's stand-up. John always beat me at Monopoly. Which explains why he was able to write these jokes, and why I'm barely able to get them.

It probably also explains why he got a law degree and I got a theatre degree.

Get well soon, John!
