CHP September Newsletter

Click here to read the entire letter. There's information about our upcoming annual fall event, and an incredible story about how crewmen of the U.S.S. John C. Stennis are been impacted by our H2O series.

Finished script revisions on the final "not a fan" episodes last night at 5am. Other accomplishments of the week: perfect score on "I've Gotta Feeling" on Beatles Rock Band (Difficulty level: medium; time to move up). I have some notes to implement, but that shouldn't be too difficult. I hope the final voter approves.

Here's the next flagship project for City on a Hill Productions.

With The Beatles

So, the other day, I'm up at the office late trying to plow through a bout of writer's block. I have some script rewrites to do for City on a Hill Productions' upcoming Bible study series, Not A Fan. I round the corner of the upstairs hallway to see our very own John Howard, aka "Sound Dude," coming up the stairs the with The Beatles Rock Band in tow.

As if I needed any more temptation to run away in a panic from my computer.

Oddly enough, the game, which is totally awesome by the way, is helping me get through my assignments. I find that when I allow Rock Band to be the self-administered reward for a certain amount of work, I get a lot more done.

Anyway, I gotta go. I have a meeting with John, Paul, George, and Ringo, in a couple of hours.

Playland

My brother, John Ramsey, co-wrote and co-stars in Playland, one of ten finalists for the Doorpost Film Project. The winning film, based 30% on votes, gets $100,000.

The film also stars our good friend Santry Rush (The Oath of Desormeau, various Ramsey Bros. Pictures).
